OKRify June 24 Release Notes

We are excited to announce the OKRify June 24 Release, a major update introducing a new work manager/task management feature and significant enhancements to OKRs, Scorecard, Contest, and Meetings.

Board

Introducing Board, our new Work Manager feature designed to organize your tasks into groups for efficient tracking. Built with ultimate user-friendliness, the Board offers a simple yet powerful tool for managing projects, tasks, or action items for individuals or teams. Comparable to Monday.com, ClickUp, Asana, and similar tools on the market, Board provides robust functionality and ease of use.

The board comes in four types to cater to different scenarios:

Individual: Manage personal projects, tasks, and action items.

Team: Manage a team's projects, tasks, and action items.

Employee: Managers can create and assign tasks to team members, with tracking capabilities in the manager tab.

Coaching: Specifically designed for coaching, featuring rating capabilities and rating reports.

Key Features

Organize Tasks & Track Progress: Organize your tasks into groups and easily update their progress or status.

Enhanced Board Customization: Customize the board for your business process with custom fields, group colors, deadlines, timeframes, rating fields, and more to suit your needs.

Streamlined Task Dependencies: Set task dependencies (finish-to-start or start-to-start) to build your projects with the necessary flexibility while maintaining control.

Gantt Chart: View tasks in a Gantt chart to see how they align on the timeline, with dependencies also displayed.

Board is designed to enhance your productivity and streamline your workflows, making it an invaluable tool for managing tasks and projects effectively.

OKR + Board:

The Board feature seamlessly integrates with OKRs, offering a simple and efficient way to organize and manage tasks aligned with your objectives.

OKRify provides two methods to utilize boards with OKRs:

Objective Progress Based on Board: In this mode, an Objective does not have individual Key Results. The progress of the associated board determines the progress of the Objective.

Boards for OKRs: This approach allows you to create a board linked to your OKRs. You can track the number of tasks in the board and their completion in the Hub. In this mode, OKRs will have their own Key Results, and their progress is independent of the board.

OKR Comments

The comments feature is now available for Objectives, allowing users to add discussions directly within each Objective. These comments are visible in the Hub for each Objective. Additionally, users can use @mentions to notify specific individuals, triggering a Salesforce Bell Notification.

Meeting

Meetings, the user-friendly tool for running productive 1:1 or team meetings with collaborative agenda setting and action items, has been further enhanced with an automatic record updating option for Salesforce Object sections.

OKRify Meeting already includes Salesforce Object type sections, allowing you to add any Salesforce records, such as Opportunities, Accounts, or custom Salesforce objects, into a meeting. The displayed fields for these records can be customized to meet your specific needs.

With the June 24 release, you can now automatically add records to these sections based on a filter. Each time the meeting is opened, or by using the "Get Records" button, the latest records matching the filter will be added to the meeting. For example, you can set a filter to include open Opportunities for a user that are closing in the next 90 days.

Records can also be added manually and removed from the section as needed. Icons will clearly indicate records that do not match the filter criteria, whether added automatically or manually.

This feature ensures that all relevant Salesforce records are included in your meetings, facilitating meaningful discussions without missing any important information.

Filters can be saved in a meeting template. For 1:1 meetings created from a template with a filter, the filter will automatically update with the attendee’s user information, ensuring relevant records are included.

Scorecard

Scorecard, the simple gamification tool to track your team's performance with leaderboards for multiple KPIs, has been enhanced with the following improvements:

Currency: A currency field is now available, allowing Scorecards to be set in a specific currency if your organization uses multiple currencies.

Annual Values: Monthly and quarterly scorecards now provide the ability to view annual values, enabling managers and users to track progress over the entire year, in addition to the monthly and quarterly views.

User History: Monthly and quarterly scorecards now allow viewing the performance history for each user. Users can see their history in the main scorecard, while managers can view each user's history, including the percentage change in achievement for each period. This provides a quick overview of a user’s performance over the past year.

Manager Only: Managers can now set up and preview scorecards before enabling them for users.

Decrease: This feature indicates when KPI values are expected to decrease or stay below a target limit. If the value is below the target, the KPI is within target; if above, it is not.

Background KPI: When the KPI background option is enabled, it allows KPI values in Scorecard to be updated in the background. This is only available for the Opportunity field history object, where the number of records often exceeds 50,000 and requires batch or background processing. Examples of KPIs using this feature include the average time to change to a specific opportunity stage or the number of opportunities qualified in a month.

Contest

Contest, the gamification tool for running timed contests for users or teams, has been improved in this release with the following new features:

Contest Hub: The Contest Hub has been enhanced for both users and managers. Users can now easily view current and closed contests, while managers have a dedicated section for managing their contests. The Contest Hub provides an overview of the number of contests and prize-winning contests.

Currency: A currency field is now available, allowing contests to be run with specific currency if your organization uses multiple currencies.

Manager Only: Allows managers to set up contests, preview them, before enabling the contest for the users.

Leaderboard: The prize-winning color for users can be customized in the prize sections of the contest. By default, all users are displayed on the leaderboard, but it can be restricted to show only the top users if needed.

Notifications: Automatic notifications for contests can be set up for various events such as before the contest starts, at the start, at the end, or at a specific time. Additional messages can be included, and both notifications and messages can be managed under the notification tab within a contest.

Coming Soon:

The Performance Grid utilizes activities and outcomes as its two axes to categorize staff based on their performance, offering a clear visual representation. It is built natively in Salesforce and based on real-time Salesforce data.

Managers can leverage the Performance Grid's visual representation to map team members' performance and pinpoint coaching opportunities. It aids in assessing strengths and weaknesses, enabling strategic improvement initiatives.
