Training Completion Rate
Training completion rate is a key performance indicator (KPI) used to measure the effectiveness of a company’s training programs. It is calculated by dividing the number of employees who have completed the training by the total number of employees who were scheduled to attend the training. The result is expressed as a percentage.
For example, if a company has scheduled 100 employees to attend a training program and 80 of them completed it, the training completion rate would be 80%.
A high training completion rate is an indication that the training programs are well-designed, well-delivered and that the employees are motivated to attend and complete them. A low training completion rate may indicate that the training programs are not relevant, not well-designed, or not well-delivered, or that employees are not motivated to attend and complete them.
Measuring the training completion rate can help a business identify areas for improvement in its training programs and ensure that employees are receiving the knowledge and skills they need to perform their jobs effectively. It also can help to measure the ROI of the training programs, by assessing the impact of the training on the employee’s performance and on the overall business results.
