Brief Overview of HVAC Distributors?
HVAC Distributors is a distributor and manufacturer representation that has been in business for 35 years, we have 14 locations and 180 team members
Why were OKR Goals introduced in your organization?
I read the book Measure what Matters by John Doer and believed it was a better method of setting and tracking goals for our organization than how we were doing it at the time.
Why did you choose OKRify as your Goal Setting Solution?
We wanted a platform that would coexist with our current software offerings and since we utilize Salesforce as our CRM, OKRify was a natural fit for us.
How has your team adopted OKRs with OKRify?
Every management level team member and many of our individual contributors all have Objectives and/or Key Results that roll up to our overall Company Objectives. We meet monthly to review progress and the OKRify software has helped us stay on track and expose issues that need to be addressed. The transparency the software provides is very helpful in managing the organization.
How has OKRify helped to improve?
The visibility that OKRify provides has been a great improvement over the prior goal tracking we were doing with excel spreadsheets as part of an X-Matrix process. The transition from the X-Matrix to OKRify has been very well accepted and it is so much more transparent and easy to use. Our team embraces the OKR process due to how the software makes it easy to do.
What is the most useful aspect of OKRify? Why?
The new Meeting Hub feature of the software is fantastic and allows us to run the OKR review meetings seamlessly and effectively. It is a great tool. I can see many of our former meetings that were not OKR focused, utilizing the Meeting Hub due to the simplicity and lean way communication is enabled.
What is your advice for other organizations who are adopting OKRs?
Read Measure what Matters and adopt the process laid out in the book and then utilize OKRify to manage your OKR initiative.
