Extend Scorecard

Scorecards can be extended by updating their end date. Please follow these key recommendations when doing so:

  1. Extend the Scorecard to the end of a month, quarter, or year, based on its timeframe.
  2. If the Scorecard includes user-specific targets for a KPI, add the additional periods to the custom user targets for each KPI. Ensure that the custom target end date matches the updated Scorecard end date.

Follow the below steps to extend a Scorecard

1.Update the Scorecard End Date: Adjust the Scorecard's end date to extend it to the desired period (e.g., from Dec 2024 to Dec 2025).

2.Add additional periods for KPIs with User-Specific Targets (if applicable):

  • For KPIs with custom user target, click to open the custom user targets.
  • Click To add new periods, click as many times as required to add the next period.
  • For example: For a quarterly scorecard to extend by a year, add 4 new quarters and for a monthly scorecard you will need to add 12 months.
  • Update the targets for the users for the new periods as required.
  • Click Save to return to the Scorecard
  • Repeat these steps for all the KPIs with user-specific targets.

Note: The custom user target end dates must match the Scorecard's end date. If they don't align, you will see the following error: "Please Add More Months to Opportunity Created’s Custom Target to Match the End Date."

3.Save and Activate: After updating, save the Scorecard and activate it.

4.Update Background KPIs (if applicable): If your Scorecard uses background KPIs, update the progress values by clicking the background KPI icon in the cockpit. This process may take a few minutes.

Following these steps ensures your Scorecard is successfully extended.
